General conditions for any service provided by Explore in Venezuela:
Explore takes full responsibility, for all signed contracts and arrangements including correspondence using e-mail, with its clients offering its different programs and services.
Explore is not responsible for acts of God, force major, or any other damage to the company including accidents caused by subcontracting other services and/or delays of flights and commercial connections of any travel by plane or other means.
In case of problems in general with a service provided by Explore: Explore will substitute with another / posada / service of equal quality and price or in worst case offer another posada in a different period. In case of serious problems Explore will return 90% of the deposit for that service provided.
The traveler should bring with him documents and identification, in case of problems related to missing documentations or visas, Explore is not responsible for any costs or delays of the complete service.
3.- Return of deposit paid to Explore for reservation of service paid by the guests.
Return of the full amount 60 days before the start of the service.
Return of 70% 30 days before the start of the service.
Return of 50% 15 days before the start of the service.
Return of 25% 72 hours before the start of the service.
There is no return 48 hours before arrival of the guest.
4.- No return of deposit.
When travel documents are inadequate.
When the traveler is not present the day of reservation.
In case of strong rain, bad weather or force major that could bring the security of the planned trip in danger Explore reserve the rights to change the program.
5. - Commitments to Explore Partners.
Clients agree to accept the authority and decisions of Explore Partners Operators(tour leaders, guides, and agents).
Operators have the right to exclude any clients from the tour, without refund, in the event that the client's actions or conduct could put the safety or comfort of the tour at risk, before or after the tour starts.
Explore Partners will not be held responsible in the event that a client commits an illegal act, and may, after consultation with its legal department, remove the client from the tour or take other measures.
Clients must inform Explore Partners Operators if they have a disability or are undergoing treatment for a physical or medical condition and must make arrangements for the provision of medication or treatments required during the tour.
Clients with disabilities or physical or emotional limitations or phobias need to read programs carefully to check whether any of the activities will affect them.
Explore Partners reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel a tour at its discretion.
In the case of major natural, political or weather events or accidents, Explore Partners Travel & Adventure may change the program or destination, with a previous agreed refund.
6. - Reclamations.
All reclamations should be made in writing and send to our office by fax or e-mail, not more than 48 hours after the termination of our service.
In case the guests are not happy with the attention, service or condition of posada / service provided.
The guest must inform the captain, host or Explore immediately by phone. The guest must specify any detail and complain that is relevant so further action can be taken, if client wishes to change service provider / Posada / accommodation this can be arranged by Explore or contact person.
If the guest continue with the scheduled itinerary there can be no refund after the vacation is terminated.
Permits for doing charter in Venezuela.
Explore has the following permits:
Permit from the Ministry of tourism.
Permiso de MINTOUR: # 280430.
Prices do not include entrance tax for any of the National parks in Venezuela which for the moment is $15 to $65 for international guests and $15 for residents of Venezuela.
Prices do not include local airport taxes..
Diving and fishing permits are $10 per person per year.
Telephone calls is paid by guest.
Imported spirits is allowed in the park. (Guest can bring there own specialties for private use only).
Prices for accommodation or tours quoted per day/night is for 24 hours.
If the guest wants to leave in the afternoon 50% would be charged extra of the daily based price. Children between 2 to 10 years of age has a discount of 25%.
In case a payment or rest of deposit for a service provided has been paid beforehand, this payment has to be paid upon arrival in Venezuela to Explore Partners or service provider.
In the contrary Explore has the right to cancel the service provided with no refund or postpone flight / accommodation /service based on availability.
